red penWriting is one of the most soothing things to do. Whether it be poetry, journaling, or a short story, writing is therapeutic. You can channel all your anger, anxiety, and other feelings into a masterpiece. You can express yourself in a way that is not only appropriate, but encouraged.

Some people find writing boring and tedious, but I find it extremely useful as a coping skill. It allows me to convey a message to others, and to express my opinions openly. Journaling can show you how much you’ve grown, because you have written proof of progress. It can improve your confidence, which is always helpful.

I like to write helpful things, such as advice. I’ve lived through a lot of hardships, but I came out of it a stronger, well -rounded person. If I can use my experience to help others, I will. Writing allows you to reach your audience, Use your voice to speak to them, and to captivate them.

Next time you want to get a point across, write it down first. Even if you use a list, it can help you collect your thoughts.
