Applied Behavioral Analysis, or ABA, is a therapy that uses a scientific understanding of behavior to manage or change the way individuals act. Commonly, the goal of ABA is to increase desired behavior by rewarding it; sometimes, ABA also discourages unwanted behavior through negative consequences.
